The dog that taught us the true meaning of unconditional love



 So, we got our Labrador Retriever Bailey two years before our daughters were born.  When we found out about Julia's allergies, dander was one of them.  We couldn't  bear to give Bailey away considering he was such a big part of our family.  The girls loved him dearly and they actually didn't seem to show much of a reaction to him.  Unfortunately Bailey passed away this summer after being with our family for 10 years.  He was an amazing,loving and loyal friend.  He will always be missed....

After Bailey passed, we had a difficult time coming home and not hearing four little paws rushing to greet us.  We soon realized that our family was incomplete without a furry friend.  We researched which dogs would shed less and therefor be better for our family considering the allergy.  So we came across the Labradoodle breed.  They are half Labrador/half poodle.

Let me just say, there is no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog.  Every single dog on the planet sheds its hair!  Obviously some will shed less than others and the Labradoodle is one of them. 

We finally made the bold choice of getting another dog.  We came across little Harry online and fell head over heels in love.  He helped us in the healing process of dealing with Baileys loss.  He will never, ever replace Bailey but he's definitely filling up that big hole in our hearts!  Here is the picture of him that we saw online that made us realize he has to be ours:

It was a tough decision but one of our best!
